A daring odyssey through electric dreamscapes and grungy guitars.

Supersonia is an indie rock band born in Los Angeles, CA.

At its core is the fusion of grunge music, the melodic and psychedelic guitars from the 70’s-80’s, a sprinkle of shred, otherworldly synthesizers sounds à la Blade Runner, and before all the mission to take the audience on a sonic and lyrical journey.

The official music video was inspired from late 80’s Japanese animation to tell the story from the Lyrics.

Sentinel , The Début

Sentinel is Supersonia’s debut single, which ascended to all music receptors on Nov 1st 2024.

It was independently produced in the current fashion of DIY. Most of the instruments and vocals where recorded in a closet converted into a recording booth, located in K-Town Los Angeles.

By telling the challenging love story set in a distant future, between a “sentinel” and a planet, the lyrics anchor the song in a space-opera / sci-fi universe, where synthesizers roar in unison with yearning guitar riffs.

We like to think that if Queen, David Bowie, and Muse got together to record something, Sentinel could have been in that direction.

TWOC , The Following

The Whisper of Colors is the second original release by Supersonia. In the continuation of Sentinel, the song blends an epic story, with grungy guitars sludging alongside tasteful synthy drifts.

Released on March 14th 2025, TWOC started as a very simplistic approach on the acoustic guitare, and expanded to be a journey into the future. Merging kinetic synthesizers and grungy guitars. Musical accents throughout the song were summoned, little by little, motivated by the question what would a color sounds like?

The song tells the story of a lone wanderer from a distant future where humanity no longer exists. This mysterious entity carries jars filled with radiant lights — each representing the emotions of humans who once thrived. Unable to comprehend the depth of those feelings, yet fascinated by the vastness of the human experience, the entity becomes both a collector and a storyteller, trading memories it cannot fully understand, piecing together fragments of a bygone civilization.
